Halifax Public High Schools

In the Halifax-Dartmouth metropolitan area and its surrounding areas, there are a total of 5 high schools offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, along with 6 other high schools offering Advanced Placement (AP) courses. 

The high schools that offer IB programs are:

The high schools that offer AP programs are:

For families whose primary language is French, there are currently two French-language high schools available in the Halifax–Dartmouth metropolitan area, namely:

2) École secondaire du Sommet High School
